Hallo-ween doing everyone?

Did anyone purchase their Halloween costume already or preparing for a Halloween Party at home or school? Using Doodle Hog NOYO Crayons and/or Dab and Dot Markers, you can have children create Halloween Decor that'll make a great display you can decorate the walls of your home with or showcase on a classroom bulletin board. The decor can feature a Halloween theme, asserted Jack-o-lanterns, a story you've read; or have kids create what they want be for Halloween!

What is Pointillism?

According to Wikipedia, Georges Seurat and Paul Signac developed the technique of Pointillism in 1886. It is a technique of painting in which small dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image and utilizes the eye's ability to blend the color spots.

Here's a Picture Walk of a Cat, Pumpkin, Bat and Broomstick!

Doodle Hog Crayons work wonderfully, even with younger preschool children because they glide on flawlessly and there are plenty of colors and shades to choose from! You may want to help them create the basic outline of the design first of what they want to create (ask them!), rather than having them create their own drawing, and they can dot it in using either Dab and Dot Markers, or Crayons.

After you take down the decor, you can even repurpose them by tacking on popsicle sticks and act out your favorite Halloween story!

What kind of pieces do you like create using Pointillism?
