It’s always a great day to teach little ones about the beach and sea life. We are excited to share that our new Starfish Lesson Plan is ready for free download! Teachers, great news- this lesson plan conforms to AS1: Generate and conceptualize artistic ideas and work. Patrick Star from SpongeBob SquarePants will help little learners get excited about using their imagination to make their own starfish character. Budding artists will learn about starfish, how to make a star shape, and how to create a character of their own.

Only a few supplies are required and a star template is included in the download for use if needed. Using pictures of real starfish as well as Patrick Star as references, children will create their very own starfish character with human characteristics. Our Dab N Dot markers are a mess free way to add pops of color for the starfish clothes and details.
