Collection: YouTube Star Lindsay Weirich Shows How To Create Four Dazzling Holiday Cards Using NOYOS and Watercolors
We partnered with YouTube craft maven, thefrugalcrafter Lindsay Weirich, to design handmade winter-themed holiday cards using our watercolor pans, watercolor brush pens, and NOYO Gel Crayons.
Lindsay Weirich is a global YouTube craft sensation who loves exploring activities like card making, rubber stamping, art journaling, mixed media. Lindsay has an eye for color and a knack for inexpensive craft hacks. Lindsay posts different arts and crafts tutorials to her YouTube page thefrugalcrafter, multiple times a week.
In this video, Lindsay designs four different cards that are personalized with adorable winter themes. In addition to showing how to make the cards, Lindsay also shares tons of her crafty tips, tricks, and how-to hacks.
One theme is Frosty the Snowman, complete with a corncob pipe, carrot nose, and mouth made out of coal. After sketching a snowman, she uses the colors of her watercolor pan and watercolor brush pens to bring her snowman to life.
Another card theme is Season’s Greetings. After using various stamping techniques to create the scene, she adds watercolor to add dimension to a warm outdoor scene.
You’ll love the variations of her ‘Let It Snow’ greeting cards. Lindsay uses stamps with clear ink and clear embossing powder to create an icy glossy effect. After that, she layers various watercolor over the stamped effect for a unique effect - so delightful.
