Our markers are easy to use. Sometimes, though, a cap may be left off or ink gets on something other than the artwork. No worries! Our markers are kid-friendly. Here are some tips:
1.) Oh no! The cap was left off for days! Good news. These markers rehydrate! If the tip dries out, it can be easily rejuvenated by simply putting a few drops of water on the tip and allowing the sponge like marker material to absorb it.
2.) Ink got on my clothes! If the marker ink gets on clothing, no worries. Wash separately as usual with regular detergent and it should come right out!
3.) If marker ink gets on skin, simply wash off with a little soap and water.
4.) Prevent mishaps - protect coloring surfaces with newspaper and always supervise coloring sessions.

I was really excited to get these markers in the mail. I have a 5-year-old and almost 3 years old. I try to do as many arts and craft activities with them as I can and these were a great addition. Out of the package, they are a nice size and shape perfect for little hands to hold them correctly. It takes a moment or two to get the liquid flowing through the mesh top, but once started, it has a good amount of liquid to work with- a sort of pre-measured feature which is nice. My kids tend to knock things around and lose them so it is nice that the caps can be attached to the bottom of the marker. It includes 6 basic colors but they have a shiny metallic tint to them so once dried, your child's masterpiece will literally sparkle.
Another thing I loved was printing out the free activity sheets from the website. My kids had fun coloring them in and completing them using the markers. I like that they have the option to color using the dotting technique or dragging it along the paper for complete lines. We used that as an opportunity to draw lines while counting on the activity sheets. As with any coloring activity, things can get messy. These markers wash off my kid's hands well with a little warm water, soap, and some rubbing. One thing I would suggest is to make sure you place down plastic or paper of some kind since the markers could end up on whatever surface your child is working on. These would make great gifts for teachers as well.

I am an art teacher in a public school and could not wait to share the Metallic Dab and Dot Markers with my students! They loved the metallic look compared to regular matte colors that typically come in this style markers from other companies and that they were mess free (a huge plus when it comes to clean up at the end of class and the end of the day)! They are fast drying and leave a bold, metallic color that aids in the creation of great artwork. I will be ordering more for my classroom.
